SIBO stands for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. What this means is that your Migrating Motor Complex (I will continue to reference this as your MMC) but also known as your peristalsis (what gets your poop moving through your intestines and out your bum!) has stopped working. You may have other causes such as abdominal adhesion's which may not be affecting the MMC's but is prohibiting the movement of food and bacteria out of the small intestine and into the large intest
